I think white's supposed to go with everything, more or less.

And even if the robes are pink, they can't be worse than the robes Mummy sent, which are all black and have lace and buckles and netting in strange places. I suppose she thinks that what looks good on her might as well look good on me, and hasn't considered that we don't really look much alike at all, for a Mother and Daughter.
