I have seen Hermione, when I went to attempt to pull Dolohov out to deal with the distraction. (Unsuccessfully.) She is in extreme duress but is still alive.

I was unable to reduce the number of people in the office to make a full-on assault practical, but if there is no further movement and we are unable to recover Hermione's portkey to enable her escape, I will not allow her to continue being tortured.
