Dear cousin Dora and Mr Ponds,

Hello, have you enjoyed your summer so far? Is the shop ever so much busier this time of year, or does it get quiet, with people going on holiday and such?

I've been making new friends and getting involved with some clubs, as well as being accepted into the CCF programme. Some of us are thinking of having a Tea Appreciation club, and I suggested that we see if it would be possible for us to visit your cafe some day this week? That way, I could see Bea, too. I'm sure she's ever so much bigger than the last time I visited. And you could meet some of my friends, who I'm sure will all be on their best behaviour. I don't want to trouble you, though, so if this week isn't good then perhaps another time. I'll be leaving for the CCF programme on Friday, and will be busy with that until 18 August.

We'd love to have you come for a visit. And your friends, if they'd like. How many of them might come, do you think? Only, we've got just the little cafe, and wouldn't want to run short of tables if it's a large group.

We do have some nice biscuits at the moment. The tea's just ordinary, though, you know.

Well, I only know for certain that Justin and Remy (another of my cousins) will come. But I know that Sally Anne Perks is interested, and I think Pansy Parkinson is, too. There might be a few others, as well, but I promise to do my very best to keep it small and manageable.

Would Wednesday be too much trouble?
