I suppose the fact of it is that I feel a certain duty to you, as well.
That's why I'm telling you myself that I told Desai that I believe Antonin is guilty of treason. I know that you don't know what he's done, but I can tell you that he's let his sentimentality for certain persons stand in the way of good judgment, and that it's a threat to all that Our Lord upholds. As you can see, Desai's already written to my mother, so she must be taking the matter quite seriously.
I know you would have done the same as I, if you had the knowledge I have. You know all about the sacrifices that have to be made to do what's right, and it's time I learnt that, too.
I am sorry, though, just the same.
