Hi Harry,

I just wanted to let you know that a new club, Tea Appreciation, is meeting tomorrow at Lazlo's of London, in Camden. Probably around 3:00. Don't worry, I haven't made you president or anything, but if you want out of Buckingham, you're welcome to join us. It will be Remy and Justin and me for sure, and Sally Anne and Luna, and maybe Ron and Neville. I also asked Draco and Pansy, but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

I think Draco feels uncomfortable about coming to the shop because it's owned by our cousin, Dora Ponds. She's a halfblood, and her parents were traitors, so Draco doesn't really know her at all. I've been getting to know her better, though. Her family is very polite, and very loyal to the Protectorate.

I hope your summer has been going well. Have you enjoyed coming to the clubs and being a YPL counsellor? I know that the clubs weren't really your idea, after all, so I hope it hasn't been burdensome. I know that it's been nice for me, to have a good reason to socialise away from St. James. Mummy hasn't remarked on it much so far, she's so busy with her investigations, you know. But I keep waiting for her to suddenly snap to attention and put a stop to it...That's how it usually goes, with her.

Let me know if you can make it tomorrow.

From,
Hydra

I've been at Buckingham this week to visit with Harry. I suppose I might be back later in the summer, when he's not doing CCF and I'm not doing YPL, either.

It was a very nice time. We did a lot of exploring, because with 775 rooms you never really run out of places to explore. A lot of the rooms we weren't allowed to go into, of course, but there were still lots of other places left to look. It was loads of fun, and I wasn't even worried about running into a ghost, because Harry said that there's really only supposed to be one at Buckingham, and he only shows himself at Christmas-time.

And there's no Chapel Royal at Buckingham, so no Bloody Mary.

Exploring got dull after a while so we usually went out to the Mall and Saint James Park. They made it so that it was only open to people with security clearance, so we were able to go flying. We went to Duck Island, too, because there's supposed to be wild puffskeins there but we never did find any. And then we were using accio to float up fishes out of the water, only long enough so we could see what colour and shape they were, but after a while we decided that might be cruel so we stopped.

I tried to make sure Harry was happy and waited on properly. He seemed to be, so I think it went well.

Today's YPL speaker sounds rather nift.
He's a historian, but I think it will probably be different than what we hear in our history lessons.
I know because I heard Professor Lestrange say that the speaker was a lively historian, not a deadly one.
I think my Uncle might be friends with the historian speaker, but then he knows a lot of people so who can say for sure?
I hope the YPL meetings will keep being interesting, especially since Quidditch won't be so much fun anymore.
I don't even much like the idea of going to the matches, because what if the Dementors come again?
And I know it might be rude to the other Quidditch players to say so, but the matches won't be nearly so interesting to watch without Harry playing.
I heard he's not going to be allowed now, you see.
So it won't be nearly so exciting.

I probably should have asked Mr Selwyn this when he made his announcement about the journals the other day, but we were still setting up our tent.
The one we were given hasn't been used since last years camping trip, I think.
Someone left a packet of biscuits in it but the had gone really stale, and I didn't even want them, and I found a dirty sock, too, which I definitely didn't want.
And then today we were walking around the moors for hours, it was really windy and now I keep finding little sticks and brambles in my hair.
Tonight there will be some star gazing, which should be lovely.
I wonder if I'll be able to see the constellation Hydra from here?
I've never seen it before, maybe Professor Sinistra will help me if she isn't too busy.
Oh, but I almost forgot why I wrote in the first place!
It was to ask if anyone knows whether or not people are allowed to write private messages to our Lord Protector?
It might be nice to be able to, just to send our thanks, or maybe devotional thoughts, and it would be faster than sending an owl, too.
