Your Healer was no prize, either! I suppose attractiveness is not really a priority when picking out someone to impersonate.

Ron may not--I suspect he'll want to be in animal form for a while. At least he didn't say anything about rushing off to Buckingham, what, I just wanted him to know that if he did want to focus there instead of here, we'd work around it.

Rachel or Mrs Longbottom haven't told you about the message?

Glad to know about Honoria. How's Madam P, d'you know? I asked Sally Anne, but I reckon she must be busy.

Your mother wrote to taunt Alice and my mum and to offer a trade: Ginny for you. Said she knew they wouldn't take it, but clearly she meant to drive a wedge.

Wrote to tell me Ginny never gave up on Percy and resents the rest of us because we did. Just letting me know she's got through the Occlumency, in other words. I thought about answering her to say that while Gin may think that, it doesn't mean it's true--but so far I've sat on my hands and not written. Reckon it's better not to.

I'm sure she bally well does mean it. If we were foolish enough to accept, you're a much bigger prize to her than Ginny. But we'll just have to get Ginny back on our own, without your mother's help.

Well, no doubt she'd be bloody delighted to have us hand you over. No telling whether she'd feel obliged to give Ginny back in return. Or in what condition.

But, yeah. I imagine she's done quite a lot of damage this afternoon with Alice and Mum. And she's got the twins wound tight. Bill, too, I imagine. At least Charlie wasn't having to sit there all afternoon. Unless they found him and dragged him down from the preserve. But, really, what can any of them do? Brodie's not going to approve an attack on Buckingham, and she won't let me try slipping in there. And, yeah, she's probably right about it, too, but you know-

I mentioned that idea to Rachel, but I think Mummy would be prepared for a trap, even if she was hoping that we'd follow through on the trade.
