All right, I think it's time to get prepared to do this. Justin and I stayed up late whispering back and forth until we had something figured out. We're going to get the wands.

Pansy, you have your song ready?

In a bit here, I'm going to write to Desai and tell her I want to bathe and rest a little, and that I need her to stand in for me. Hopefully, she'll agree. After I leave, wait a few minutes or so and you can get going with your song.

During that mayhem, Justin will say he's going to check on the common rooms, then come out to meet me. I've got the invisibility cloak, and we're going to take it to where the wands are being kept. He'll stand watch while I get them from the strongboxes. I'm not an enforcer but my hope is that council membership will negate that. I'll confound the boxes just in case, so that the alerts on them aren't tripped. My field cloak has an expandable pocket - so does Justin's - we'll take all the wands we can.

Justin will be in charge of getting them to the common rooms. Luna and Artie, we'll need you to be ready to fake illness or injury so that you can get out and meet up with Justin to fetch the wands for Ravenclaw. He'll use the galleon to signal Caroline, Ed, and Coinneach out of Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Slytherin. Bring something that you can hide the wands inside of.

I'll be under the invisibility cloak with the 7th years wands. When I get back to the Great Hall, I'm going to pass them off to everyone (or almost everyone. Perhaps not Blaise or Greg) as surreptitiously as possible, telling each person to keep their wand out of sight until later.

Then I'll exit the Great Hall, take off the invisibility cloak, and come back in looking freshly bathed.

The only hurdle I can see is--might some of the Galleon people think its a trick?

You & Justin have played your parts really well & it might be a bit of a shock to the system.

If they think it's a trick then I guess some of them won't leave the common room to get their wands.

But we need to persuade them. We can't leave people helpless if fighting is going to break out, if only because we need as many as we can to engage the Enforcers. If it comes to that.

I don't have time to persuade anyone.

Justin will hide the wands near the common room for them to be retrieved later, if someone refuses to come out, or is for some reason unable to come out.

And I think it matters to let them know that we trust you. Because we do.
